When I moved to Alberta I started thinking about landscape and mountains in particular. "Candy Mountain" was part of a three person show with Susie Major and Catherine Bodmer at Latitude 53 in Edmonton. It was assembled on site with the aid of Susie Major from masses of pseudo crystaline stuctures made out of Coke cans and packing tape. The title comes from the hobo song "Big Rock Candy Mountain" and dreams of plenty. Susie Major's drawings are visible in the background.
