Six Million Stitches: Vienna 66,000
SIX MILLION STITCHES is a responsive-memorial: remembering Jews who enriched their cultures and were murdered in the Holocaust. Mindy Yan Miller honours each life with a stitch of human hair, Sharon Yan keeps count in a book and Marcus Miller frames the act with contemporary accounts of lives well lived. The first iteration takes place in Vienna, an urban culture deeply inflected by its Jewish heritage.
