"coke dump demonstration" developed in conjunction with "drop out" an installation of empty coke cans arranged on the floor in a "peace and love" pattern. The first time I showed the work was in a group show of Canadian artists in an art college in a Parisian suburb. The first time I showed the work in Paris I couldn't collect enough discarded cans in time and, in desperation, started dumping coke with the help of the other artists. We found that we all got in a kind of frenzy and the Canadian curator, François Dion said, "this is what the work is about - emptying coke!"
